Certified Peer Counselor

Corinna Lozano

Re-entry Navigator & Community Advocate

Hi there!

My name is Corinna Lozano, and I’m a certified peer counselor, re-entry navigator, and community advocate based out of Skagit County. I became a certified peer counselor in 2024 through Northwest Credible Messenger CPC training and the Washington State Health Care Authority, but my journey started long before that. I know what it feels like to carry the weight of trauma, re-entry, and life’s struggles while trying to build something better.

My own experiences have taught me that healing isn’t just about change, it’s about connection, trust, and being seen for who you truly are. That’s why I do this work, to walk alongside others as they find their own path to healing, hope, and stability. I specialize in supporting justice-involved individuals, gang-affected adults and youth, and people navigating trauma, addiction, and the challenges of re-entry. Whether it’s finding stable housing, reconnecting with family, or just having someone to talk to who truly understands, I meet people where they are, with compassion, honesty, and no judgment. Healing is possible, and no one should have to go through it alone.

I offer one-on-one and group support sessions, both in-person and virtually. My focus is on peer mentorship, trauma recovery, and re-entry support, helping people rediscover their strength and build the life they want. I also facilitate re-entry support groups and recovery coaching. I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where people feel heard, respected, and empowered to heal on their own terms. Outside of my work, I love spending time with my family and just enjoying life. Healing isn’t just about overcoming the past, it’s about embracing joy, laughter, and the little moments that make life meaningful. If you’re looking for support, I’m here to help.

Mariela Paloalto

Professional Esthetician

Hi there!

I’m Mariela Paloalto, a Certified Peer Counselor and Professional Esthetician based in Arlington, WA. I’m passionate about helping others find strength in their struggles and navigate the path to healing. Whether it’s through peer support, resource guidance, or self care, I believe in creating a safe and compassionate space for growth. Life has thrown its fair share of challenges my way—growing up around gang violence and poverty, facing domestic violence, and overcoming personal trauma. But through resilience, counseling, and self-help, I’ve learned that healing is possible. Now, I use my experiences to empower others, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to those who need it. I’ve worked in truancy support for the Mukilteo School District, helping students return to school, and I have a background in accounting and human resources for local businesses.

As a volunteer esthetician with Lipstick Angels, I provide care and comfort to oncology patients because I know how much a little self-care can uplift the spirit. I specialize in one-on-one peer support, resource navigation, empowerment coaching, and role modeling. I believe in the power of meditation, self-reflection, and setting healthy boundaries as key tools for healing. My approach is all about grace, compassion, and learning to take small steps that lead to big milestones. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, and I’m available Monday–Friday from 4-8 p.m. I’m bilingual, so I can provide support in both English and Spanish.

I love reading self-help books, cooking, and taking dance classes—because healing should also include joy! My biggest motivation is to remind people that no matter how dark life gets, there’s always hope and light to hold onto. If you’re looking for support, guidance, or just someone to listen—I’m here. Let’s take this journey together.
